![]() We have 12 of these gorgeous handmade greyhound collars for Orchard Greyhound Sanctuary, they are €30 each and we are hoping that they will all be sponsored. As most of your know, Maryjane does so much for sighthounds around Ireland and would really appreaciate these lovely collars in time for Christmas. So who wants to buy number one? Please PM me for payment details. -------------------- ![]() www.dogsindistress.org |

I'm not trying to be nasty here and I know this is for a good cause (I adopted my greyhound from MJ!) BUT these collars seem pretty expensive compared to other martingales I have bought. The most recent martingale I bought was €17 and it looks identical to those collars. I wonder will the high price putting people off sponsoring? I would love to sponsor a collar but I'm afraid at that price I wouldn't be in a position to do so

I just got a phone call from Marie that two collars will be getting sent to me today, which is perfect, as I have two lady greyhounds who are collarless at the moment.
MANY THANKS to those who sponsored a collar. I am told these are decorated with fake jewels and are quite bling, so can't wait to see them. I have several black greyhounds now, and nothing dresses up and helps to promote a "plain" black greyhound than a healthy glossy coat and a beautiful collar. About the cost - I can well imagine that for some this sounds a bit pricey - but of course 2 or 3 people could go in together on one collar and then it would not be so much of an expense. For those of you who don't know, greyhounds need special collars, as their heads are so slim that a normal collar will just slip right over their heads. Photos to be posted when the collars arrive! -------------------- www.orchardgreyhoundsanctuary.com
