Dog name: Skittles

Sex: Male

Kennel number:2

Located: Dunboyne Pound

Picked up:

If in pound is stray/surrender? Surrender

In:15/05/09

Needs out: ASAP

Poor Skittles is super scared in the pound. He is very well behaved but he trembles alot, especially with all the barking going on around him. He's quite big, Lab sized and is only 6 months old. His condition is generally good and is a beautiful boy; loved some cuddles and to be petted. But he badly needs to get out of there and get some TLC. Please help this lovely man! Poor fella doesn't know what has happened him. As a surrender he needs out urgently. If you can help please post, pm or call Martina on 086 3871498.

This is NOT an APBT but looks like a Boxer x.

Please change the caption or else you make it harder for the dog to find a place.

With a skull like THAT?
I very much doubt that. Ambulls are supposed to have skulls which are
FLAT on top; unless the dog is terribly malnourished and shows poor
conformation and muscle tone. I just had VERY good samples here
(Ambulls, same age) for comparison - and they had nothing in common
with the chap in the pic. Please don't make him something he is not, it
won't help his homing.

Look it, I am not going to argue but this dog is no more an AB than I am Irish.

At Lab size he could height wise only be a Johnson and these do not have such a pronounced indentation on the top of the skull. Also, it appears that the dog has a blue eye which is extremely rare in Johnsons and more common in Scots or Old Southern Whites and the Alapaha Blue;) of which he is neither.

Look at his legs as well. AB have sturde legs and paws, this lad has boxer legs ;).

Sorry, i am only stating what i know, he is a pure ab. The reason his head is like that, is because he is still a pup, and still has a lot of growing to do, same as the rest of him. I have had AB's for over 12 years, and show them, and have 6 of my own at the moment, so know what im talking about. You can get Blue eye's in any AB, and is common in the breed. Hope i have'nt upset anyone, that was not my intention, and i hope he finds a loving home soon.
