Hi all.
I hope it is ok to post this here. I am in need of some advice regarding dogs being neglected. The people involved are the parents of a close friend, so you can understand the sensitivity of the matter. Basically they have 6-7 dogs which are locked into trailers without access to water. One dog in particular has been locked in a dark shed for the past 5 years and not once have I seen it let out. Up until now I have been told to stay out of it by other people but seeing the wonderful work you do on this site has given me courage to seek help for these poor creatures. I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Sorry not in your area and I am sure someone will be on here soon to give you some good advise, but maybe you could get in touch with your equivalent of the RSPCA :blush_mini:

But did want to say well done for caring as these poor dogs need to be saved the the evil people punished

Thank you Pouchie, I'm only sorry I didn't do this sooner.
I've already been in touch with the ISPCA and they can't do anything as the dogs are fed and let out most evenings. My main concern is the dog in the shed. I cannot contact the local warden but will keep trying.

If the dog has no water they will call out - that has been my experience anyway with the DSPCA. You don't have to leave any of your details with them.

I have rang and emailed directions to the animals on Friday, nothing yet, fingers crossed something will happen tomorrow :grouphug:

I'm afraid the dogs are still there but I have gotten very good advice and guidance from a fantastic lady and hopefully we shall be able to get the dogs out of there in the very near future. In the meantime I am keeping an eye on food and water. I will keep you posted
